About the device:
The galaxy note is a superb phone when going through the specifications. The display is fantastic with the amoled screen its produces brilliant colours making pictures more real than ever. The 8 mp camera provides a great picture quality which makes the phone very much suitable for day to day photography and the 1080p HD video recording makes it even better for a device of this sort to be an every man’s dream. The 2mp front camera is very useful in the sense the video chat is made livelier than before. The phone has two mics in which the upside mic is used for noise cancellation.
1.4 Ghz Dual Core Arm Cortex –A9 processor provides a faster usage of multiple applications at the same time.
An additional facility often unrecognized is accelerometer, barometer sensor and digital compass which come with this device. The device is available in Indian markets at 35000 Rs. The additional feature that we have in the device from all other capacitive touch screens is that it has a S-pen which provides a greater control in the doc editing department and also picture editing has become a lots more easier in this device. The games and apps worked well and all the hd games worked in the device producing awesome gameplay. The device is not as big as everyone think it is. It can be well fitted to the pockets.
Problems
The problems faced by many user till now are the lag when scrolling through the WebPages and also on pinch to zoom. Also the wireless reception is little weak when considered with the other device. The sound qualidy of the device is not one of the best but good. Some devices has been reported to have manufacture problem mainly in the cell reception section.
Comparing with iphone 4s
The screen resolution is much greater than iphone 4s and also the display size is also greater. And also when considering the RAM of these two devices note has 1 GB RAM (approx of 800 MB for use) and iphone has only 512 MB RAM (480). Even though both devices has an inbuilt memory of 16 gb, 32 gb and 64 gb (iphone only). Iphone does not have a external memory card slot where Samsung galaxy note has that provision. There is no stock fm radio in the device for iphone and the front camera is only vga where as for Note it is 2 MP. The other thing that worry’s the user is that for iphone only micro sim card support is available which is hard to get for Indian users.
