In the moment

It's a hot humid day.so much to be done.but here I am wasting away.so many pending files on my desk that my table top is scarcely visible...but what Am I gonna do about it.? I dunno. Will think about it for a while and fuss over it then i would allow myself to divert again.. its the best way to let go of the reality of it and the continuous work it requires to keep the wheel spinning..
People say to "live in the moment"...
I never really got the point..what exactly do they mean by it.? When they say " take life as it comes " ,I do get that because that's how I live..
But living in the moment seems absurd because as far as am concerned, we are either working for the future or dwelling in our past... so present is just a state of mind..
Oh well..that was definitely something to think about.but its time to let the stray thought go and open one of my pending files..

Music

I dont know wt i'll do withOut music..I cant imagine my life less music. It's stuck to my soul now,i think.Because its the only thing that seems to completely understand me.
R u happy? well celebrate it with a party chart,as not all of us can go out to the club..If u're sad then listen to a sad number & cry your heart out..If u're frustrated then play a rebellious track n yo your back on track!

I cant think of a day in the past yr atleast when i went abt d day without music..It seems lik i've not ever been without it..
Well what does d world think? I hope u dont think that am too crazy..
But i gotta admit,,my gran thinks am obsessed & even some of my frnds think d same,Even the bus conductor thinks so! but am I?
Yeah I love it.I love all the beats n evry swish and ripple sounds, all the different voices..I have always had a passion for singing. And someWer,in a childIsh corner of my innocent mind lies the a teeny-weany hope that I'll be up on that stage, someday!
Till then,I plugOn my headSet N runOff to d Musical world, wer am d happiest person on d planet.!

p.s: forgive my sms language,,believe me- am trying to cut it out.

Snail House

I saw this article on this amazing site...i had to put it up for all of u guys out there..
So many innovative ideas..! A snail shaped home..dunno wt all we can expeect in the future..?
Here it goes-

An email forward is doing the rounds in India claiming to carry with it pictures of the residence of the country’s most beloved cricket star, Sachin Tendulkar. However, a quick search on the topic has proven the email to be a farce. The house is not in India but is actually, on the other side of the planet, in Mexico City and is the brainchild of the Mexican architect Javier Senosiain.
The entrance
Made to look like a snail from the inside, this house has an interior garden. All the rooms are specifically designed keeping the contours of the edifice in mind. As a result, there are no straight lines or passageways here.
The kitchen is tongue shaped and looks like it is growing out of a wall and the beds are made in that way too. The living room has a couch that resembles a jellyfish and is told to have been built around a well in the floor. The accessories in the bathrooms, like the showers and the taps are shaped like trunks and cascades, to complete the ‘living-underwater’ experience.
The colors schemes have been used in accordance with the theme and have created a living space found nowhere else on the planet. Built from an iron lattice framework filled with cement, this house is unlikely to buckle under pressure of the earthquakes that periodically strike the city.

eXpeCtatiOns

I was five.I was reall fussy.I cried for my every need.My Mom wouldnt have a clue as of what might be d problem(again). But my Gran would come and look at me and ask.."what is it my child? Are u hungry again?"...I would just sit there and blink at her..and she'd feed a spoonful or two and i'll be all cheerful again..

Childhood is undoubtedly the best phase of life, isnt it.? Parents care for their child and make sure they take care of all its needs;which thankfully involves only a couple of things..all simple and predictable..
I only wish things were as simple now...i.e as d child matures. From d dawn of teenage,,a number of issues come facing the highroad..and despite all the changes,,the kid still expects to be understood by his family, friends and loved ones..

Then am i wrong when i say instead of money,Expectation is the root of all evil? But then,is it wrong to expect?
You are always there for your best bud,,then why not 'expect' them to stick around for you too?
Your gal/boyfriend is in trouble and there you are at their beck and call..cant you 'expect' them to come around when you could use some help?
The dirty-green bus thats always late..how come its on time on a day you ran out late?

I have known for sometime that i shouldnt let my hopes high on such regards..But my silly mind,,when did it ever listen to me? it has its own ways..But the thing that bothers me the most is that by expecting,I give the respective person a chance to hurt me..again n again..its pathetic actually..

Lifes so strange..there are so many issues..so many challenges to pass and in btwn all dis brilliant ppl like myself get further messed up by complicating every damn thing from the angle of expectation..this is life for you..but hey, nobody said life was fair!

small things in life

Just rounding up Onam celebrations here.My family came in for a few days & we went to visit our paternal grans,it was just like the old times..I had almost forgotten how much i liked their company..In todays' times, the schedules are so damn hectic..its so damn hard to find time for hanging out n sticking up for each other..and when we actually manage to do that and have fun, thats when u we realise that these are the things..the small things that give us warmth on the coldest of nights..

And then when we really get into the thick of things..thats when its time to go back into our respective lives again..and all thats left are some sweet old memories and some lovely pictures..

I dedicate the song "Time of your Life"-by Green Day on this occassion-

Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go
So make the best of this test, and don't ask why
It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

So take the photographs, and still frames in your mind
Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial
For what it's worth it was worth all the while

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

EW-Harry-Potter-1116.jpg
The first of the final two Harry Potter movies — Deathly Hallows — Part 1 — is scheduled to be released on November 19, but the stars finished shooting both films earlier this summer. Daniel Radcliffe, 21,  Emma Watson, 20, and Rupert Grint, 21, have been playing Harry, Hermione, and Ron for more than decade, literally for half of their lives. When EW sat down with each of them last year at Leavesden Studios outside London as they entered the final stretch of filming, it was clear that they each were struggling with mixed emotions: happy that they had made the journey and ambitious to make these final films they best they could be, but eager, also, to start the rest of their lives.
“I’m ready to kind of move on now, I think,” Grint said between takes. “This film is a great way to finish the whole era, and it’s going to be sad, because obviously all my friends are here, but 10 years is enough.” The three of them were shooting a scene in the Room of Requirement in which Harry, Ron, and Hermione are searching for a horcrux — in this case, the tiara-like Ravenclaw diadem. Watson and Grint were both sopping wet. (In the film, Ron and Hermione have recently destroyed another horcrux in water and were pursued by a Voldemort-shaped tsunami.) Grint and Watson were kept soaked by crew members, who sprayed the pair down every few minutes. It was not making Watson happy. “It’s been this way for weeks,” she said, shivering next to a space heater. “I hate to sound whiny, but it’s horrible. It’s miserable being wet all the time.” She shrugged and added flatly: “But, you know, I was told it will look very dramatic when you see the films, so it will be worth it.”
Radcliffe, meanwhile, seemed to be in a tug-of-war with himself about finishing his run as Harry Potter. “This film has been hard to make, and I’ve had some of the most trying moments, both physically and mentally, than ever before,” he said. “I wasn’t entirely thrilled with my performance in Half-Blood [Prince] — I found it quite same-y, and didn’t think there was enough variation in it — so I’ve worked hard to make sure that if the seventh film comes out and I’m still unhappy with it, I’ll know it won’t be from lack of trying.”

Castle exclusive-Beckett's new boYfriend..

Castle-Victor-WebsterImage Credit: Jeffrey Mayer/WireImage.com; Inset: Bob D'Amico/ABCastle has found a new plaything for its queen.
Victor Webster—the genetically-blessed alum ofMelrose Place 2.0Charmed, and Mutant X—is joining the ABC hit as Beckett’s (Stana Katic) new love interest.
Webster’s character, Josh Davidson, first appears in this season’s fourth episode when he drops by the precinct to visit Beckett. Unlike Bec’s last two boyfriends, played by Bailey Chase and Michael Trucco, Webster’s Josh is not in law enforcement—a fact that’s not lost on Castle.
“There’s an element of mystery to him,” explains exec producer Andrew Marlowe. “He’s more of a motorcycle guy…A person that is going to intrigue Castle, because he’s going to see a different side of Beckett.”
Webster will appear on a recurring basis throughout the season.
In other Castle news, Marlowe confirms that the show’s youngest star, Molly Quinn, is also getting a love interest in the form of Secret Life of the American Teenager‘s Ken Baumann.
“This is her first serious boyfriend,” notes Marlowe. “This is the first time Castle has had to deal with his daughter being in a relationship.”
Castle‘s third season premieres Sept. 20.
